  • Melamine Standards set - Test done?

According to an article by Associated Press on November 29, 2008, standards have been set for melamine in baby formula yet not test have been performed to determine thoses standards.  Two months ago they said they could not set a standard yet now they have.

90% of the baby formula produced in this country, USA, has been determined to have some melamine?  Is it true?

I was reported to have shown up in pet food and agriculture food stock.  When will all this plastic in our food stop?  Question?  Is melamine a by-product or is it produced as a filler or something to alter the protein testing?  Any one with answers?
